If multiple effects modify your hand size, apply them in timestamp order. For example, if you put Null Profusion (an enchantment that says your maximum hand size is two) onto the battlefield and then put Anvil of Bogardan onto the battlefield, you'll have no maximum hand size. However, if those permanents entered in the opposite order, your maximum hand size would be two.

If there are two Anvils on the battlefield, they trigger and resolve separately. This means that you first draw one card and discard one card, and then do it again. You do not draw two cards and then discard two cards.

The triggered ability is put onto the stack after you have already drawn your card for the turn.

Players have no maximum hand size.

Blanket of Night

Each mana-producing land is a swamp in addition to its normal land type.

Anything which counts the number of Swamps on the battlefield will not double count an actual Swamp card while Blanket of Night is on the battlefield.

It can affect lands which do not produce mana.

More than one Blanket of Night has no meaningful additional effect.

The ability is a land type change effect so it is ordered along with other land type change effects in the order they entered the battlefield.

The land can now be tapped for black mana in addition to any other abilities it already has. This works just as if the text “{T}: Add {B}” was added to each mana-producing land. In other words, the land can be tapped for its own ability _or_ it can be tapped for black mana. Not both.

The lands do not get the name “Swamp” in addition to their current name. This is a reversal of older rulings.

Whether the land is a basic land or not is unchanged by this effect.

If this effect is applied to a snow land, the land is now a snow Swamp and not just a regular Swamp.

Each land is a Swamp in addition to its other land types.

Bogardan Phoenix

In multiplayer games, you can choose a new target player each upkeep.

It does count rust counters put on artifacts by other Corrosion cards. This means that having more than one of these can result in fast destruction of artifacts.

Only puts rust counters on artifacts your opponents control, but destroys all artifacts with rust counters on them, even your own. When it leaves the battlefield, it removes all rust counters, not just those that happen to be on artifacts.

Desertion

Counter target spell. If that spell is an artifact or summon spell, put that card into play under your control as though it were just played.

If the spell is not countered (because the spell it targets can't be countered), then this card's ability does not put the card onto the battlefield. The spell continues to resolve as normal.

The card is put onto the battlefield, but any effects that check if the original card was "cast from your hand" will not trigger or otherwise consider the card to have been cast from your hand. The card was put onto the battlefield by the effect of Desertion instead.

This spell includes a replacement effect. If the target is an artifact or creature spell, it never goes to the graveyard.

Counter target spell. If an artifact or creature spell is countered this way, put that card onto the battlefield under your control instead of into its owner's graveyard.

It works even if it was not on the battlefield when the land was tapped for mana.

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player may choose any number of tapped nongreen creatures they control and pay {2} for each creature chosen this way. If the player does, untap those creatures.

Dwarven Vigilantes

If Dwarven Vigilantes attacks and is not blocked, you may choose to have it deal no combat damage this turn. If you do, Dwarven Vigilantes deals an amount of damage equal to its power to target creature.

An ability that triggers when something “attacks and isn’t blocked” triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.

Whenever Dwarven Vigilantes attacks and isn't blocked, you may have it deal damage equal to its power to target creature. If you do, Dwarven Vigilantes assigns no combat damage this turn.

You can play the card this turn, not just during the resolution of the ability.

This has the supertype world. When a world permanent enters, any world permanents that were already on the battlefield are put into their owners' graveyards. This is a state-based action called the "world rule." The new world permanent stays on the battlefield. If two world permanents enter at the same time, they're both put into their owners' graveyards.

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player exiles a card at random from their hand. The player may play that card this turn. At the beginning of the next end step, if the player hasn't played the card, they put it into their graveyard.

Equipoise

During your upkeep, for each land target player controls in excess of the number of lands you control, target land he or she controls phases out. Repeat this process for artifacts and then for creatures.

In multiplayer games, you can choose a different target player each turn. You can even choose yourself.

You perform the selection and phasing out on lands first, then on artifacts, then on creatures. This means that if you choose an artifact creature during the second pass, your opponent will control one fewer creature when it comes time to perform the third pass.

At the beginning of your upkeep, for each land target player controls in excess of the number you control, choose a land that player controls, then the chosen permanents phase out. Repeat this process for artifacts and creatures. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. They phase in before that player untaps during their next untap step.)

Since phasing in does not cause enters abilities to trigger, it is possible to phase in a card which is already on the battlefield and not trigger this effect.

When Eye of Singularity enters, destroy each permanent with the same name as another permanent, except for basic lands. They can't be regenerated.
