Beast Within

If the permanent is still a legal target but is not destroyed (perhaps because it regenerated or has indestructible), its controller still gets the Beast token.

If the target permanent is an illegal target by the time Beast Within tries to resolve, the spell won't resolve. No player creates a Beast token. If the target is legal but not destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), its controller does create a Beast token.

Destroy target permanent. Its controller creates a 3/3 green Beast creature token.

Cultivate

If you choose to find only one basic land card, you put it onto the battlefield tapped.

Search your library for up to two basic land cards, reveal those cards, put one onto the battlefield tapped and the other into your hand, then shuffle.

Drown in the Loch

For spells with {X} in their mana costs, use the value chosen for X to determine the spell's mana value.

If a creature on the battlefield has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.

Choose one —
• Counter target spell with mana value less than or equal to the number of cards in its controller's graveyard.
• Destroy target creature with mana value less than or equal to the number of cards in its controller's graveyard.

Ice Out

Bargain means “As an additional cost to cast this spell, you may sacrifice an artifact, enchantment, or token.”

Bargain represents an optional additional cost. A spell cast with that additional cost paid is “bargained.”

If you copy a bargained spell, the copy is also bargained. If a card or token enters the battlefield as a copy of a permanent that’s already on the battlefield, the new permanent isn’t bargained, even if the original was.

Some instant and sorcery spells require additional targets if they’re bargained. You ignore those targeting requirements if those spells aren’t bargained, and you can’t bargain those spells unless you can choose the appropriate targets. On the other hand, you can bargain a permanent spell even if you won’t be able to choose targets for an enters-the-battlefield ability of that permanent once the spell resolves.

You may sacrifice only one artifact, enchantment, or token to pay a spell’s bargain cost.

Lifecrafter's Bestiary

Lifecrafter's Bestiary's second triggered ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. The ability will resolve even if that spell is countered.

The draw step is after the upkeep step, so you'll scry 1 before you draw for the turn.

While resolving Lifecrafter's Bestiary's second triggered ability, you can't pay {G} multiple times to draw multiple cards.

At the beginning of your upkeep, scry 1.
Whenever you cast a creature spell, you may pay {G}. If you do, draw a card.

Norn's Annex

A card with Phyrexian mana symbols in its mana cost is each color that appears in that mana cost, regardless of how that cost may have been paid.

As you cast a spell or activate an activated ability with one or more Phyrexian mana symbols in its cost, you choose how to pay for each Phyrexian mana symbol at the same time you would choose modes or choose a value for X.

If a player attacks with more than one creature, that player chooses how to pay each cost individually. For example, if you attack with two creatures, you may pay {W} for one cost and 2 life for the other.

If you control Norn's Annex, your opponents can choose not to attack with a creature with an ability that says it must attack.

If you're at 1 life or less, you can't pay 2 life.

Multiple Norn's Annexes controlled by the same player will each impose a cost to attack. Players choose how they pay each cost individually. For example, if a creature you control is attacking a player who controls two Norn's Annexes, you may pay {W} for one cost and 2 life for the other.

Phyrexian mana is not a new color. Players can't produce Phyrexian mana.

The controller of each creature attacking you or a planeswalker you control pays either {W} or 2 life as attackers are being declared.

To calculate the mana value of a card with Phyrexian mana symbols in its cost, count each Phyrexian mana symbol as 1.

({W/P} can be paid with either {W} or 2 life.)
Creatures can't attack you or planeswalkers you control unless their controller pays {W/P} for each of those creatures.

Pyroblast

The decision to counter a spell or destroy a permanent is a decision made on announcement before the target is selected. If the spell is redirected, this mode can’t be changed, so only targets of the selected type are valid.

Pyroblast can target any spell or permanent, not just a blue one. It checks the color of the target only on resolution.

Choose one —
• Counter target spell if it's blue.
• Destroy target permanent if it's blue.

Rampant Growth

Because the "search" requires you to find a card with certain characteristics, you don't have to find the card if you don't want to.

The land does not count toward your one per turn limit because it was put onto the battlefield by an effect.

Search your library for a basic land card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.

Opening Orazca unleashed more horrors than just the Immortal Sun.

Ravenous Chupacabra

When Ravenous Chupacabra enters, destroy target creature an opponent controls.

Syr Konrad, the Grim

If one or more creatures die at the same time as Syr Konrad, its first ability triggers for each of those creatures.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, Syr Konrad's first ability causes it to deal 1 damage twice.

Whenever another creature dies, or a creature card is put into a graveyard from anywhere other than the battlefield, or a creature card leaves your graveyard, Syr Konrad, the Grim deals 1 damage to each opponent.
{1}{B}: Each player mills a card. (They each put the top card of their library into their graveyard.)

Unclaimed Territory

To choose a creature type, you must choose an existing creature type, such as Vampire or Knight. You can't choose multiple creature types, such as "Vampire Knight." Card types such as artifact can't be chosen, nor can subtypes that aren't creature types, such as Jace, Vehicle, or Treasure.

As Unclaimed Territory enters, choose a creature type.
{T}: Add {C}.
{T}: Add one mana of any color. Spend this mana only to cast a creature spell of the chosen type.
