Angrath, the Flame-Chained

Angrath’s first ability causes each opponent to lose 2 life even if some or all of those players were unable to discard a card.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, Angrath’s first ability causes the opposing team to lose 4 life, and each player on that team discards a card. His last ability causes the opposing team to lose life equal to the number of cards in both graveyards.

Whether the target creature has mana value 3 or less is checked only as the delayed triggered ability from Angrath’s second ability resolves during the end step.

You can target and gain control of an untapped creature with Angrath’s second ability. You can also untap a creature you already control and give it haste.

[+1]: Each opponent discards a card and loses 2 life.
[−3]: Gain control of target creature until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step if it has mana value 3 or less.
[−8]: Each opponent loses life equal to the number of cards in their graveyard.

Moraug, Fury of Akoum

A creature that enters the battlefield attacking hasn’t attacked that combat. Moraug’s ability won’t count that combat. Unless that creature has haste, it won’t be able to attack in additional combats this turn.

A landfall ability doesn’t trigger if a permanent already on the battlefield becomes a land.

A landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability puts a land onto the battlefield under your control.

If the landfall ability resolves during your precombat main phase, the additional combat phase will happen before your regular combat phase. You’ll untap creatures you control at the beginning of the additional combat but not at the beginning of your regular combat.

Moraug’s first ability checks each turn how many times each creature has attacked. It counts times that creature attacked before Moraug was on the battlefield, and it stops applying if Moraug leaves the battlefield.

Moraug’s first ability counts how many times a creature has attacked, not how many times it has dealt damage. The first time a creature attacks in a turn, the +1/+0 bonus will apply to the combat damage it deals during that combat.

There won’t be an additional main phase after the additional combat phase. For example, if the landfall ability resolves twice during your postcombat main phase, you’ll get two consecutive additional combat phases after your main phase (untapping your creatures at the beginning of each), followed by your ending phase.

Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, each landfall ability of the permanents you control will trigger. You can put them on the stack in any order. The last ability you put on the stack will be the first one to resolve.

Each creature you control gets +1/+0 for each time it has attacked this turn.
Landfall — Whenever a land you control enters, if it's your main phase, there's an additional combat phase after this phase. At the beginning of that combat, untap all creatures you control.

Ox of Agonas

After an escaped spell resolves, it returns to its owner's graveyard if it's not a permanent spell. If it is a permanent spell, it enters the battlefield and will return to its owner's graveyard if it dies later. Perhaps it will escape again—good underworld security is so hard to come by these days.

Escape's permission doesn't change when you may cast the spell from your graveyard.

If a card has multiple abilities giving you permission to cast it, such as two escape abilities or an escape ability and a flashback ability, you choose which one to apply. The others have no effect.

If a card with escape is put into your graveyard during your turn, you'll be able to cast it right away if it's legal to do so, before an opponent can take any actions.

If you cast a spell with its escape permission, you can't choose to apply any other alternative costs or to cast it without paying its mana cost. If it has any additional costs, you must pay those.

Once you begin casting a spell with escape, it immediately moves to the stack. Players can't take any other actions until you're done casting the spell.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying (such as an escape cost), add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was and no matter whether an alternative cost was paid.

You draw three cards, even if you discard no cards.

When Ox of Agonas enters, discard your hand, then draw three cards.

Sethron, Hurloon General

Whenever Sethron, Hurloon General or another nontoken Minotaur you control enters, create a 2/3 red Minotaur creature token.
{2}{B/R}: Minotaurs you control get +1/+0 and gain menace and haste until end of turn. ({B/R} can be paid with either {B} or {R}.)

Tahngarth, First Mate

Although Tahngarth is an attacking creature if it uses its triggered ability, it was never declared as an attacking creature. This means that abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks won’t trigger when it changes control and becomes attacking.

Any effects that say that Tahngarth can’t attack or can’t attack a certain player (such as that of Propaganda, or if Tahngarth gains defender) affect only the declaration of attackers. They won’t stop Tahngarth from becoming an attacking creature through its triggered ability.

Commander damage is tracked for each commander. It doesn’t matter who controls the commander as it deals damage. If Tahngarth deals 10 damage to one player while under your control and another 11 damage to that same player while under a third player’s control, the player loses the game.

Giving control of Tahngarth to an opponent doesn’t cause it to become untapped. This means that Tahngarth may end up attacking several times between your turns.

If Tahngarth gains menace, it can’t be blocked at all.

If an opponent attacks a player or planeswalker but each creature attacking that player or planeswalker is no longer attacking that player or planeswalker by the time Tahngarth’s ability resolves (most likely because they’ve left the battlefield), that player or planeswalker can’t be chosen for Tahngarth to attack. If there’s no player or planeswalker to choose this way but you still choose to give the opponent control of Tahngarth, Tahngarth isn’t attacking.

If an opponent is attacking a planeswalker but not that planeswalker’s controller, Tahngarth can’t attack that player.

Players can’t take any actions between the time you choose to give control of Tahngarth to the attacking player and the time it becomes an attacking creature.

Tahngarth may end up attacking its owner this way.

Tahngarth, First Mate can't be blocked by more than one creature.
Whenever an opponent attacks with one or more creatures, if Tahngarth is tapped, you may have that opponent gain control of Tahngarth until end of combat. If you do, choose a player or planeswalker that opponent is attacking. Tahngarth is attacking that player or planeswalker.
