Abundance

If you would draw a card, you may instead choose land or nonland and reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a card of the chosen kind. Put that card into your hand and put all other cards revealed this way on the bottom of your library in any order.

If no card of the chosen type is found before your library empties, you don't get a card, but you do get to order all the cards in your library any way you choose.

If you use this on a multi-card draw, each replaced draw is handled separately. In other words, you reveal and then put on the bottom of the library for the first card, then do the same for the second, and so on. In a multi-card draw you do not have to choose how many of those draws will be replaced before you do any drawing or use of this card.

This replacement effect replaces the draw, so nothing that triggers on a draw will trigger.

If your library is empty, Abundance can prevent you from losing the game for being unable to draw a card. If an effect or turn-based action would cause you to draw a card, you can replace that draw with Abundance's replacement effect. (It doesn't matter that you'd be unable to actually draw a card.) Since Abundance's effect has you put a card into your hand instead of drawing a card, you'll never be forced to draw a card with an empty library.

Altar's Reap

As an additional cost to cast Altar's Reap, sacrifice a creature.
Draw two cards.

Players can only respond once this spell has been cast and all its costs have been paid. No one can try to destroy the creature you sacrificed to prevent you from casting this spell.

You must sacrifice exactly one creature to cast this spell; you cannot cast it without sacrificing a creature, and you cannot sacrifice additional creatures.

As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a creature.

Carrier Thrall

When Carrier Thrall dies, put a 1/1 colorless Eldrazi Scion creature token onto the battlefield. It has "Sacrifice this creature: Add {C} to your mana pool."

Eldrazi Scions are similar to Eldrazi Spawn, seen in the Zendikar block. Note that Eldrazi Scions are 1/1, not 0/1.

Eldrazi and Scion are each separate creature types. Anything that affects Eldrazi will affect these tokens, for example.

Sacrificing an Eldrazi Scion creature token to add {C} is a mana ability. It doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to.

Some instants and sorceries that create Eldrazi Scions require targets. If all targets for such a spell have become illegal by the time that spell tries to resolve, the spell won't resolve and none of its effects will happen. You won't get any Eldrazi Scions.

When Carrier Thrall dies, create a 1/1 colorless Eldrazi Scion creature token. It has "Sacrifice this creature: Add {C}."

They seek out living trees to glean age-old secrets from sap and wood.

Each opponent in turn order may choose to sacrifice a creature, even if an opponent already chose to sacrifice a creature that combat. Desecration Demon will have a maximum of one +1/+1 counter put on it each combat, no matter how many creatures were sacrificed.

Players won’t know which player or planeswalker Desecration Demon will attack, if any, when deciding whether to sacrifice a creature.

If the targeted creature is an illegal target by the time Hideous End resolves, the entire spell doesn’t resolve. No one loses life.

The promise of anguish is payment enough for services rendered.

Indulgent Tormentor

Flying
At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card unless target opponent sacrifices a creature or pays 3 life.

If there are no legal targets to choose, perhaps because all your opponents have hexproof, the ability is removed from the stack with no effect. You won’t draw a card. This is also true if the target opponent becomes an illegal target in response to the ability.

The opponent chooses whether they sacrifice a creature, pays 3 life, or allows you to draw a card. That player can’t make an impossible choice, such as sacrificing a creature while they control no creatures.

Zombies mourn for the living and celebrate those who will soon be given the gift of death.

Innocent Blood

You can cast Innocent Blood even if some (or all) players control no creatures. Those players are simply unaffected.

Nature's arms encircle all who are willing to draw close.

Jaddi Lifestrider

When Jaddi Lifestrider enters the battlefield, you may tap any number of untapped creatures you control. You gain 2 life for each creature tapped this way.

You don’t choose which creatures to tap until the ability resolves. You may tap Jaddi Lifestrider itself this way, assuming it’s still on the battlefield untapped by this time.

 Any player who has controlled a permanent with a hideaway ability since a card was exiled with it may look at that card.

"Hideaway N" means "When this permanent enters the battlefield, look at the top N cards of your library. Exile one of them face down and put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. The exiled card gains 'The player who controls the permanent that exiled this card may look at this card in the exile zone.'"

Hideaway now causes you to put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library in a random order instead of any order.

Previously, permanents with hideaway entered the battlefield tapped. This ability has been removed from the definition of hideaway. Older cards have received errata to have an additional paragraph that reads "[This permanent] enters the battlefield tapped," and they now have hideaway 4.

The emblem created by Ob Nixilis Reignited's last ability is both owned and controlled by the target opponent. In a multiplayer game, if you own Ob Nixilis Reignited and use him to give one of your opponents an emblem, the emblem remains even if you leave the game.

Oran-Rief Hydra

Trample
Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Oran-Rief Hydra. If that land is a Forest, put two +1/+1 counters on Oran-Rief Hydra instead.

A landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability puts a land onto the battlefield under your control.

If the ability has an additional or replacement effect that depends on the land having a certain basic land type, the ability will check that land’s type as the ability resolves. If, at that time, the land that entered the battlefield is no longer on the battlefield, use its types when it left the battlefield to determine what happens.

When a land enters the battlefield under your control, each landfall ability of the permanents you control will trigger. You can put them on the stack in any order. The last ability you put on the stack will be the first one to resolve.

Trample

Renegade Demon

If a spell with support has other abilities that target creatures, those abilities and the support ability can target the same creature.

You can’t put more than one +1/+1 counter on any one target using the support action.

Eldrazi are not the leopard's preferred prey, but they are better than no prey at all.

Smallpox

Each player loses 1 life, discards a card, sacrifices a creature, then sacrifices a land.

Any abilities of the lands sacrificed may modify or trigger on the creatures being sacrificed and on the cards being discarded. Abilities of the creatures won't modify or trigger on the lands being sacrificed, but may modify or trigger on the cards being discarded.

Any abilities that trigger while Smallpox is resolving will wait to be put onto the stack until Smallpox is done resolving.
